Two convenient locations to serve you
We now have locations in both Santa Clara and Redwood City!
The largest and most qualified teaching faculty in the Bay Area for guitar
Our teachers are all university-trained with tons of performance experience. Not only that, CCG instructors are friendly, professional, and dedicated to learning about your musical goals and helping you achieve them.
Lessons are tailored and personalized for the student's needs and goals
We specialize teaching children as young 3 years old the Suzuki Method and find it an amazing approach for kids! In this method the basic principles of language acquisition are applied to music. Many of our pre-teen and teenage students are preparing for school performances, competitions or their artistic supplements for high school and college applications, while also developing their own musical interests through the guitar. The school also helps many adult students develop their skills from the beginner to advanced player!
A proven track of excellence since 2011
One of our goals at CCG is to instill in students a great appreciation for guitar and music that will last them a lifetime. Students at CCG have won numerous international guitar competitions, performed outreach concerts all over the world, and have gotten into the best colleges in the United States. Recent CCG graduates have gone on to Harvard, Stanford, Brown, and USC. Visit our yelp page to see what families have to say about our program.
Performance experience for students
We offer biannual recitals for a low-pressure opportunity to play in front of an audience with other like-minded music students. Each year all 170+ CCG students have the opportunity to perform on stage together at our annual Spring Concert held in one of the many fine concert halls throughout the Bay Area.
Trophies and Certificates to celebrate achievements
Students at CCG constantly have goals to work towards from monthly practice challenges to graduating to a new book and participating in the annual graduation concert. This helps incentivize their practice!
